Description

Plant Empowered Delaware is a 6-week group coaching course for those living in the Delaware area who are seeking guidance in moving towards plant-based eating. The course has been designed to empower individuals with information, tools, and resources that will help them adopt a Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) way of eating. A whole-food, plant-based diet includes food that comes from plants and is free of animal ingredients such as meat, dairy or eggs. It also includes natural foods that are not heavily processed.

Plant Empowered Delaware encourages the WFPB diet, because research has shown it produces the most positive health outcomes. The program is based on this evidence-based research.

Plant Empowered Delaware uses a group setting for coaching. This offers a unique opportunity for participants to enjoy the support of others with similar goals.

During the course, participants will be guided in creating their personal vision and goals in order to take steps towards a plant-based lifestyle. They will receive the tools and resources necessary to effectively adopt a WFPB lifestyle. In addition, participants will enjoy plenty of opportunities to sample delicious and healthy food options with snacks, food demonstrations and a group potluck.

The program has been designed to encourage participants to take an active role in educating themselves in healthy plant-based eating as they move towards taking ownership of their own nutrition and health.

12 participants will be accepted.
